I am a regular IRC user and I find my self trying to work out the best layout for my setup. Today I think I got it just right. The client is irssi (for those that didn't know). The top one uses the angelic3 theme, the bottom angelic4. I have my last.fm radio for my tunes, a spare terminal for whatever purpose I find. But the most interesting thing is the vertical layout of the desktops, little did I know how good it would be. I find my self slipping between desktops with my greater ease.

I laso like the vertical layout :) Some how it feels that it's closer to my mouse pointer most of the time + on widescreen display there is more room to spend horizontaly than vetically :) So vertical panel all the way. [link]
